* The Quality Engineering role aims to transform the Columbia Missouri US Plant into a highly customer-oriented organization, delivering premium quality and service to exceed customer expectations.


* Lead relevant quality programs and methods such as 8D, Lean Six Sigma, Quality Fundamentals, Digital Quality, and customer interaction to ensure continuous improvement.


* Directly manage critical issues escalated by customers, or line of business.

Utilize problem-solving tools such as 8D, KATA QRCI, and Six Sigma to understand root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement.


* Lead review, development, and implementation of Quality Fundamentals, PFMEA, process control plans, SPC and poka-yoke opportunities.


* Lead continuous process improvement impacting customer returns, scrap, and FPY.


* Interface with external customers to better understand their expectations and concerns regarding product concerns, responsible for investigations, customer follow-up, and ultimate customer satisfaction.


* Interface heavily with Technical Antennas, manufacturing hourly and salaried support personnel, and external corporate engineering, quality, and supplier quality resources.


* Support new product introductions and supplier development activities relating to Columbia components.


* Support the ITP process with the main goal of achieving PPAP IG with zero blocking points.

The production process is established to efficiently produce quality products and/or parts.

Verification and validation results of parts and products demonstrate production quality.


* Benchmark with other Schneider entities to align and deploy projects utilizing digital technology in the process robustness.

This job might be for you if:


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred)


* 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field


* Proven expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma)


* Strong knowledge of quality and lean tools such as PFMEA, SPC, control plans, VSM, and 5S


* Experience driving process improvements, including scrap reduction and cost optimization initiatives
