Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Float

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, 40 hours/week.

Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with weekend rotation.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to:


* Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children's Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings.


* Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.


* Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.

Qualifications


* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required

Work Experience


* 2 years prior relevant experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


* Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required


* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required
