Senior Engineer II

Join us as a Senior Engineer II! The Senior Engineer II is responsible for all the engineering efforts for Public and Private Sector projects.

They will direct engineering in all phases of the project from conception, through development and pricing, into contract and construction documents, in construction administration, and for warranty and post-warranty Client Services.

What will you do?


* Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership to a team of design engineers, including setting clear expectations, fostering a collaborative environment, and facilitating professional growth and development.


* Direct a team of in-house and 3rd party engineers in all phases of development of regional Sustainability Business projects.

Duties include:
+ Conducting field investigation and site surveys
+ Evaluating building MEP systems and designing effective solutions to accomplish the goals and objectives of the projects
+ Preparing scope narratives, sketches, plans, specifications, and study reports of MEP systems.
+ Coordinating with other engineering disciplines,
+ Completing construction administration


* Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Coordinate project priorities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure successful execution.


* Design Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design engineering to drive innovation.


* Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of design engineering principles and methodologies.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, resolving complex technical challenges, and promoting design excellence.

Maintain a familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements.


* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of design activities throughout the product development lifecycle.

Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams to drive successful product launches.


* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and internal policies throughout the design process.


* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of design activities, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.

Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
