Schneider Electric North America Operations Power Systems Division has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role ofEngineering Supervisor - LV and MV Switchgearat our Smyrna/Mt.

Juliet, TN or El Paso, TX facilities.



* Supervise and lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, and support of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear systems.



* Oversee day-to-day engineering activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.



* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering professional growth and skills development.



* Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for LV and MV switchgear projects.



* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.



* Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and procedures to optimize team performance and product quality.



* Utilize engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and project management.



* Identify and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.



* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet organizational goals and deadlines.



* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address technical inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:


* Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).



* Experience:3 + years of Proven experience in a supervisory role within an engineering department, preferably with a focus on LV and MV switchgear.



* Skills:



* Must have 7+ years of engineering experience.


* Strong leadership and team management abilities.



* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



* Proficiency in engineering software and tools (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).



* Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.



* Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.

* This position is critical in supporting the engineering needs for C&SP jobs involving LV and MV gear content.



* The role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement in engineering process
