Restaurant Manager - voco Cairo Arabella Plaza

At voco Cairo Arabella Plaza, the very first voco in Egypt, we believe that exceptional dining experiences are created through outstanding leadership, passionate teams, and memorable guest service.

We are seeking an experienced, guest-focused, and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our speciality restaurant operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the unique voco personality and IHG service standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:


* Managing the day-to-day operations of the speciality restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.


* Leading, coaching, and developing the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.


* Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene in line with IHG brand standards.


* Monitoring guest satisfaction, responding promptly to feedback, and implementing continuous improvements.


* Driving restaurant sales through effective upselling, promotions, and guest engagement initiatives.


* Controlling operating expenses, inventory, and beverage costs while minimizing waste.


* Working closely with the Kitchen, Events, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver successful promotions and special events.


* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.


* Conducting regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and guest engagement.


* Taking full responsibility for the evening operations and all night events hosted at the specialty restaurant, ensuring seamless execution, exceptional guest experiences, and effective coordination with all operational departments.
 

What we need from you


* Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.


* Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager role within a luxury/ upscale hotel.


* Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.


* Excellent knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, financial management, and cost control.


* Strong guest service mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


* Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
