Financial Analyst

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies.

You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value.

Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work you'll do

As a Project - Analyst, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for:


* Prepare and support General Property, Plant, and Equipment (GPP&E) and inventory valuation packages to support audit readiness and financial reporting.


* Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliations across financial and logistics systems; investigate variances and resolve issues within condensed reporting timelines.


* Design and execute risk assessments and perform substantive testing in accordance with the Financial Audit Manual (FAM); document results in a clear, supportable manner.


* Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain supporting documentation, investigate discrepancies, track remediation activities, and develop written deliverables and presentations for leadership.


* Use Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools such as Python, Power Query, and Structured Query Language (SQL) to transform and analyze large datasets and support peak reconciliation and reporting cycles, which may include evening or weekend work.
