Description of the Position
The Manufacturing Engineering team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to support production and improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will assist in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, and process performance through the application of engineering principles and data-driven problem solving.
You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support process design, analyze production workflows, and contribute to maintenance strategies.
This role provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing systems, continuous improvement practices, and technical problem solving in a structured, supportive environment.

* Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality
* Assist in analyzing manufacturing workflows to identify opportunities for optimization
* Contribute to the design and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures
* Provide support for drafting and revising work instructions
* Participate in capacity planning, line balancing, ergonomics assessments, and process layout improvements
* Support implementation of manufacturing systems and technical solutions
* Assist with development and maintenance of preventive maintenance programs
* Compile and analyze production and maintenance data to support decision-making
* Ensure adherence to operational, safety, and quality standards
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams on improvement projects
