Work you'll do

As an Health and Welfare Senior Consultant in Strategy, Growth, and Transformation, you will:


* Prepare self-insured financial projections and support health plan management, including financial reporting, premium rate setting, and employee contributions.


* Conduct employee benefits studies, including benchmarking and modeling alternative designs.


* Develop comprehensive benefits strategies, including plan offerings and design.


* Managing RFP processes for medical, dental, pharmacy, life, and disability programs, including development, administration, proposal evaluation, vendor selection, negotiation, and implementation.


* Review and negotiate premium rate/administrative fee renewals.


* Evaluate vendors by reviewing services, contracts, performance guarantees, and renewals.


* Analyze claims utilization data and assess health plan performance against strategy.


* Act as an extension of the HR team, assisting with ad hoc requests or issues.


* Prepare client presentations and reports.


* Serve as a project manager and mentor junior team members.


* Engage in general health & welfare consulting activities as needed.
