Sr. Manager Client Technology

•Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Citrix Infrastructure team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Citrix virtualization environment, while driving project delivery excellence, team performance, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

You will serve as the primary liaison between the Citrix team and senior leadership, including regular reporting to the VP of IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities
1.

Citrix Environment Management
• Design, build, configure, and maintain the enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environment.
• Oversee Citrix infrastructure including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler/ADC, Provisioning Services (PVS), and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all Citrix platforms and services.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex Citrix infrastructure issues and escalations.
• Plan and execute Citrix upgrades, patches, and technology refresh cycles.
• Implement and enforce best practices for Citrix environment governance and change management.
2.

Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end Citrix infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional project activities with network, security, storage, and application teams.
• Maintain project documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and change records.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party engagements related to Citrix delivery.

Performance Reviews & People Management
• Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins and formal semi-annual and annual performance evaluations for all team members.
• Set clear, measurable goals and development plans aligned with team and organizational objectives.
• Identify skills gaps and champion training, certification, and professional development programs.
• Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and succession planning.
• Handle escalations, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters in partnership with HR.
