Project Consultant, Federal Junior Cost Estimator

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies.

You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value.

Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance

Work You'll Do

As a Project - Consultant, Finance Managed Services on the Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for:


* Develop, build, and refine parametric cost models and decision tools for complex programs


* Perform cost estimating analysis using Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Python, R, multivariate regression, Monte Carlo risk analysis, and cost improvement curves


* Develop and maintain lifecycle cost estimates for large-scale programs


* Translate program and financial data into decision support materials for leadership and stakeholders


* Mentor junior analysts and support the development of estimating templates, quality controls, and cost and price evaluation training
