Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – IP and OP Neurosurgery

Work Schedule:
60% FTE, Monday through Friday, day hours.

Hours may vary based on operational needs.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:


* Provide care to patients with neurosurgical congenital conditions that are transitioning from pediatrics to adulthood.


* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care for complex patients.


* Host independent clinics to address ambulatory care needs.


* Independently round on patients when hospitalized.

Education:
Minimum -


* If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.


* If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner:


* Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND


* Active board certification as a NP in Acute Care only (Adult or Adult/Gerontology will be considered only if previous ICU experience).

If Physician Assistant:


* Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND


* Active PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
