Departament and Project description:
As a Contract Management Trainee, you will support the Contract Manager within project teams across both Tender and Execution phases.
Your mission will be to contribute to the effective management of contractual, administrative, financial, and scope-related aspects of projects, ensuring full compliance with Schneider Electric's policies and best practices, while actively supporting value creation and maximizing project profitability throughout execution.
What will you learn?
Working closely with Tender and Execution teams, you will learn to:
* Monitor contractual commitments (contract coming into force, notifications, payment milestones, claims, and variation orders) in line with Group rules and guidelines.
* Identify and highlight key contractual, financial, and administrative risks, considering customer context and protecting Schneider Electric's contractual rights.
* Review notices, claims and Letters of Acknowledgement drafting against corporate guidelines and support the preparation, submission, and management of customer in coordination with the Legal team, until final release.
Are you who we are looking for?
* Grade Student or Master's student in Engineering, Law, International Relations, Business.
* High level of curiosity and willingness to learn.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Problem-solving mindset.
* Agility and decision-making capability.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Interest in developing a systemic and global business view.
* Outgoingness and desire to learn.
* Be able to work between 4 and 6 hours a day (Monday to Friday) and be available in the mornings.
The schedule is flexible and you can start between 8 and 10am.
* To be able to make an internship agreement with your university or study center for a period of at least 6 months.
* Be available to start in October.
* High English level.
