Distribution and e-Commerce Field Sales Representative I

This Distribution Sales Engineer role is a hybrid technical-commercial position.

You will drive market penetration for new electrical products in Saudi Arabia's expanding residential and small building sectors while building and managing a robust retail and distribution network to support high-volume sales.

Key Responsibilities


* Network Expansion: Establish, expand, and manage a network of electrical distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners across KSA.


* Product Launch: Introduce and drive sales for a new range of electrical products (e.g., circuit breakers, switches, and enclosures) targeting residential and small commercial buildings.


* Specification Selling: Secure product approvals and get new products specified by consulting engineers, architects, and developers during early design stages.


* Commercial & Technical Support: Prepare technical and financial proposals, manage pricing, and handle negotiations and contracts.


* Distributor Management: Train distributor sales teams, provide product demonstrations, and manage account metrics like stock availability, deliveries, and collections.


* Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, monitor market trends, and report on sales forecasts to management.

Required Qualifications


* Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.


* Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven technical sales experience in electrical products within the construction or retail sector.


* Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical wiring accessories, low-voltage distribution panels, and standard building regulations.


* Skills: Strong negotiation, account management, and interpersonal communication skills.


* Local Market: Existing network of electrical contractors, consultants, and distributors in Saudi Arabia (e.g., Riyadh, Jeddah, or Eastern Province) is highly preferred.


* Language: Proficiency in English; Arabic speaking is a significant advantage.


* Licensing: Valid Saudi Arabian driver's license.

KPIs & Success


* Network Growth: Number of new active distributors and retail outlets acquired.


* Sales Targets: Achieving or exceeding revenue targets for the new product range.


* Project Specifications: Number of new projects successfully incorporating your products into their designs.


* Account Health: Maintaining excellent collection cycles and healthy distributor inventory turnover.
