Dublin Post Acute Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our dedicated team.

Schedule: Full- Time | Day Shift 7 am-7pm and Evening Shift 7pm-7am
Pay: Competitive wages based on experience, plus shift differentials
Position Summary
The Medication Technician is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse while assisting with resident care and promoting a positive living environment.
This role plays an important part in ensuring the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
Essential Responsibilities
* Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations.
* Document medication administration and promptly report any medication concerns or changes in resident condition.
* Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
* Observe residents and communicate concerns to the nursing team.
* Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in compliance with facility standards.
* Ensure resident safety, dignity, and comfort at all times.
* Work collaboratively with nurses, STNAs, therapists, and other care team members to provide exceptional resident care.
* Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
* Current Medication Technician (Med Tech) or Medication Aide certification in the State of Ohio required .
* Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred.
* Strong communication , organization, and teamwork skills .
* Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
* Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
