Sterile Processing Instrument Coordinator

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 7:00am-3:30pm, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Qualifications



* High School Education or equivalent.

Work Experience



* Experience in managing, planning, and tracking budgets, with an emphasis on ensuring accurate allocation and monitoring of instrument related expenses.

* 5 plus years of Sterile Processing experience.

Required

Licenses & Certifications



* Current Central Service Tech Certification (International Association of Health Care Central Service Materials Management - IAHCCSMM or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution - CBSPD).

Required


* Current Instrument Specialist Certification (Certified Instrument Specialist - CIS Certification through IAHCCSMM or SPD Surgical Instrument Specialist - C.S.I.S Certification through CBSPD) preferred.

Preferred


* Instrument Specialist Certification must be obtained and is required during 1 year of employment.
