Design Engineer Intern (Apodaca, N.L.)

As a Design Engineer Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that design, develop, and optimize innovative products and solutions.

What will you do?


* Support day-to-day engineering activities, including design, documentation, and testing tasks.


* Assist in preparing technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering specifications using standard tools and processes.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, sourcing) to ensure smooth project execution.


* Participate in design reviews, problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.


* Analyze engineering data and support root cause analysis for quality or performance issues.


* Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and digitalization initiatives.


* Track tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and clear communication of progress.

*Location: MDIC (Apodaca): (PIIT) Apodaca 408 Ave Innovación Parque de Innovación e Investigación Tecnológico, Apodaca, 66628, Mexico.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?


* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, with a strong interest in 3D modeling, CAD, and technical drawings.


* Expected graduation date July 2027 or later.


* Intermediate to Advanced English


* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.


* Solid understanding of electromechanical engineering fundamentals.


* Proficiency in engineering tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
