Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional recovery


* Provide evidence-based interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and quality of life


* Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)


* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes


* Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning discussions


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries


* Educate residents, caregivers, and family members on treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment recommendations


* Support successful transitions home through comprehensive caregiver training and discharge planning
