Supervisor Social Work

Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with hours primarily falling Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

No weekends required.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Social Work Supervisor to:



* Provide day-to-day operational oversight and frontline leadership for the social work team, ensuring appropriate staffing coverage and supporting timely, patient-centered care delivery.


* Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate onboarding and orientation activities to ensure new employees achieve competency and are prepared for independent practice.


* Coach, mentor, and support social workers through regular supervision, case consultation, and ongoing professional development opportunities.


* Promote adherence to departmental policies, workflows, documentation standards, and evidence-based social work practices.


* Foster staff engagement by identifying educational needs, facilitating learning opportunities, and encouraging participation in quality improvement initiatives.


* Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.


* Monitor team performance and provide timely feedback, coaching, and support to promote accountability, continuous learning, and high-quality patient care.


* Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff, assisting with complex situations, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications


* Master's Degree in Social Work Required

Work Experience


* 3 years post-Master's social work experience Required


* 3 years post-Master's social work experience in a health care setting Preferred


* Previous leadership or supervisory experience Preferred


* Experience working with persons in area of specialty Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


* Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW) Upon Hire Required or
