Job Summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on cloud experience to support, operate, and improve existing cloud architecture.

This role focuses on applying cloud best practices, strengthening reliability and security, and contributing to day-to-day cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities


* Support, operate, and improve existing cloud infrastructure using best practices


* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code


* Improve reliability, monitoring, and alerting across platforms


* Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes


* Partner with security to ensure environments meet enterprise security standards


* Support application teams with services- and API-based architectures


* Document standards and best practices for cloud usage and infrastructure operations


* Collaborate with engineers, architects, project teams, and support organizations

Required Qualifications


* Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)


* Experience with cloud networking (virtual networks, firewalls, connectivity)


* Experience with version control systems


* Experience with CI/CD


* Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code


* Experience troubleshooting and debugging across systems


* Experience with services- or API-based development (not just client-side)


* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Qualifications


* Experience with Microsoft Azure


* Exposure to microservices architecture


* Knowledge of security fundamentals


* Experience with hybrid cloud or on-prem environments


* Experience with .NET / C# or YAML pipelines


* Experience working in Linux-based environments


* Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)


* Experience in the utilities and/or GIS domain


* Azure certifications preferred
