Facilities Specialist - Plant 3
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree with 4 years of experience in maintenance/facilities OR High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of experience in maintenance/facilities
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
* Good understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic and their relationship to electrical control.
* Good understanding of chemical cleaning processes and chemical waste disposal
* Good mechanical aptitude (piping, layouts, structural, etc.) and blueprint reading capabilities
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodics, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills
* Past experience with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works with strong attention to details
* Previous experience with managing projects and working with outside contractors
* Good work ethic and adherence to safety protocols and culture
* Knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
* Able to work in a self-directed or team environment and have good organizations skills
* Ability to work independently and with initiative
* Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Facilities Specialist to support our Plant 3 manufacturing and processing operations by driving equipment reliability, optimizing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, scheduling, safety, and other engineering teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency with an emphasis on delivery.
