Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership


* Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care.


* Supervise, support, and mentor LVNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel.


* Promote a positive team culture focused on clinical excellence, resident satisfaction, and professional accountability.


* Assist with staffing coordination and daily workflow management.

Resident Care Management


* Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely implementation of appropriate nursing interventions.


* Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families regarding care plans and treatment goals.


* Ensure continuity of care and timely communication regarding changes in resident status.

Staff Development and Performance


* Participate in staff orientation, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.


* Provide ongoing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.


* Promote adherence to facility policies, procedures, and best practices.

Compliance and Quality Assurance


* Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.


* Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations.


* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, surveys, and care conferences.


* Assist in identifying opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Operational Support


* Support effective nursing department operations and resource utilization.


* Address clinical concerns proactively while prioritizing resident safety and quality care.


* Collaborate with facility leadership to achieve organizational goals and maintain regulatory readiness.
