Front-End Developer

Wage: $32.00-$34.00/hr.

The Front-End Developer is a team member of the ESGW IT Department.

The individual designs, builds, and maintains web applications with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.

This role owns UI design and styling end-to-end, contributes to selecting and standardizing on a front-end framework, and collaborates closely with teammates and stakeholders throughout development and shared deployment processes.

The position helps establish clear, reusable front-end standards that support reliable delivery over time.

Requirements


* Ability to work well in a team setting.

* Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.


* Applicant must pass DMV check.

Experience


*  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or,


*  Associate degree in computer science or related field and 2-3 years of experience in front-end development or,


* 4+ years of experience in front-end development.


* Proven experience with:
+ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular).
+ Consuming APIs and web services.
+ Web technologies and frameworks
+ Version control.
+ Integrated development environments, code editors and build tools.
+ Engineering web applications.
+ Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
