Job responsibilities


* Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies


* Applies enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, roadmap development, and design decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data


* Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities


* Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design


* Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others


* Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert


* Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies


* Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions


* Champions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect


* Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* 15+ years of hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability


* Expertise in one or more programming language(s)


* Deep knowledge in one or more software, applications, and architecture


* Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives


* Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity


* Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements


* Strategic mindset in acquiring payments for payments business - Understanding of the acquiring payments business


* Strong experience in Payments auth optimization and protection services: vault, tokens, encryption, risk and other value added services like recurring billing


* Strong experience in APIs - api standards, functional, governance
