Senior Training Specialist, Industrial Automation Generalist
For this U.S.
based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000-144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Reports to: US IA Training Manager
The Industrial Automation Trainer is responsible for developing, updating, and adapting training materials focused on Industrial Automation (HMIs, Industrial PCs, Drives, visualization software, and operator interface systems).
Training is designed for distributor and internal sales teams, technical sales, product application engineers, field service, and technical/commercial trainers.
This role ensures all learning programs provide the technical knowledge and commercial acumen needed to position, select, configure, and sell industrial automation (including HMI/IPC) solutions across key industrial segments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design, implement, and conduct training sessions on Industrial Automation product lines, Drives, HMI/IPC platforms, visualization software, system architectures, concepts, product portfolio, applications, and segments, where to play, sales strategies, competitive positioning, value propositions, among others.
* Target Audience: Distributor and Schneider Electric sales and technical teams - Pre-sales focus
* Training Formats: Provide training through in-person workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, videos.
The use of virtual and physical demo units will be required to guarantee the best learning experience
* Content Development: Create training materials, including presentations tailored to learner roles while making continuous improvements
* Collect Training Feedback: Assess training effectiveness through feedback knowledge retention evaluations, analyzing learner performance, and implement continuous improvements in curricula.
* Training Equipment & Lab Support: Maintain and support training hardware and environments, including M262 controllers, M340/M580 PACs, HMIs, VFD demo units, and Control Expert software.
Ensure readiness of all lab systems and assist with live troubleshooting during training.
* Training Facilitation Support: Assist with in-person and VILT sessions, including co-presenting and supporting distributor-led training events across industrial automation topics.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with Offer Management, R&D, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure alignment with portfolio updates and market needs.
