Your Role and Impact
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapeutic interventions that help residents achieve their highest level of function and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Skilled Therapy Services
* Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
* Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
Monitor and Document Progress
* Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress toward established goals.
* Communicate observations and clinical updates to the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team.
Educate Residents and Families
* Provide instruction on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and home programs to support continued success beyond therapy sessions.
Collaborate with the Care Team
* Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
* Contribute valuable insights to help optimize resident outcomes and discharge planning.
Promote Quality Care
* Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements.
