Position Overview

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while maximizing independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Patient Evaluations

Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, developing a clear path toward recovery and functional improvement.

Individualized Treatment Planning

Design and implement personalized treatment programs based on patient needs, clinical findings, and physician recommendations.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Partner with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Education and Support

Provide training and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies and successful transitions of care.

Progress Monitoring and Outcomes Management

Track patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and participate in care conferences to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Clinical Documentation

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with facility, state, and payer requirements.

Qualifications


* Current and valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members


* Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy services


* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
