πŸ”Ή Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
πŸ”Ή Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
πŸ”Ή Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
πŸ”Ή Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and treatment techniques
πŸ”Ή Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
πŸ”Ή Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
πŸ”Ή Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning as needed
πŸ”Ή Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines

πŸŽ“ Qualifications:

βœ”οΈ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
βœ”οΈ Current Speech-Language Pathologist License (State Requirements)
βœ”οΈ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
βœ”οΈ Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
βœ”οΈ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
βœ”οΈ Passion for helping others achieve their highest level of independence
