National Trade Consultant

About the Role 

As a National Trade Consultant, you’ll leverage data-driven insights and deep customs expertise to support audit compliance, deliver high-value consultancy, and unlock new business opportunities. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through complex trade challenges while helping grow our consultancy offering. 
 

What You’ll Be Doing 


* Analyse data to support import and export audit requirements and improve performance 


* Provide expert advice on tariff classifications, concession applications, origin, valuation, transfer pricing, and voluntary disclosures to the Australian Border Force 


* Support customers with Australian Trusted Trader applications 


* Deliver clear, accurate, and timely compliance advice across the business 


* Identify and pursue new trade consultancy revenue opportunities 


* Act as a trusted advisor on complex trade compliance matters 


* Contribute to achieving audit targets and driving continuous improvement 
 

What You Bring 


* High proficiency of the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Sharepoint, Teams etc) 


* Strong experience in customs and international trade compliance 


* Solid understanding of Australian import/export regulations 


* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data 


* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders 


* Proven ability to manage complex compliance issues 


* Commercial awareness with a drive to generate business growth
