Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to support our kitchen team in delivering quality meals and excellent service to our residents.

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dietary department.
Key Responsibilities


* Assist with meal service and tray setup


* Wash dishes and operate dishwashing equipment


* Prepare snacks and nourishments


* Clean kitchen, work surfaces, and equipment


* Sweep and mop floors to maintain sanitation standards


* Monitor and record dishwasher temperatures and sanitation levels


* Properly store food and supplies


* Remove trash and maintain a clean environment


* Support cooks and dietary supervisor as needed


* Follow all food safety and infection control guidelines

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certificate


* Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Strong teamwork and communication skills


* Compassion for an underserved population
