What are we looking for?
The Shake & Shingle Inspector is responsible for visiting mills and conducting quality assurance inspections and grading various shake & shingle products.
This position will travel at least 75% of the time.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $28 - $31 per hour.
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
* Perform grading inspection of cedar shakes and shingles in the mill
* Complete inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions
* Coordinate inspection activities with clients
* Become knowledgeable of all shake and shingle grading rules and the relevant standards
* Comply with internal quality and HR policies

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar industrial role
* Technical diploma or combination of education and experience
* Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and have good written and oral communication skills
* Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
