Job Description: Senior Manager - Offer Safety

Location: Coimbatore

Function: Quality

Business Unit: Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation - ESP

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Reporting To: Offer Safety Officer

Role Purpose

Lead the implementation and governance of the Offer Safety Management system to ensure all products, solutions, and services are safe, compliant, and reliable across their lifecycle.

Drive a strong risk prevention and safety culture while enabling business growth through robust safety processes.

Key Responsibilities


* Lead Offer Safety System



* Implement and sustain Offer Safety Management processes across the business


* Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and internal policies

Drive Governance & Reviews


* Facilitate and govern Offer Safety Committees (OSMAC/OSSC/OSRC/LRC)


* Support safety decision-making for offer approvals and releases

Manage Risk & Safety Issues


* Lead risk assessments and hazard analysis using FMEA, FTA, RCA


* Manage safety issues end-to-end, including containment, escalation, and recalls (if required)


* Drive execution and closure of Offer Safety Alerts (OSA)

Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration


* Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to embed safety across lifecycle


* Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on safety risks

Build Capability & Continuous Improvement


* Develop organizational capability in safety tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, FTA)


* Track safety KPIs, trends, and implement improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred)


* 8-12 years of experience in quality, product safety, or engineering roles


* Experience in design quality, compliance, or safety engineering preferred
