Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will operate in a schedule-driven, collaborative environment, interfacing with the client and supporting Project Managers on projects up to $20MM TIC.  The Project Engineer will assist with day‑to‑day project execution activities across the project lifecycle, gaining exposure to engineering, procurement, construction coordination, and project controls while developing core project management skills.

Compensation: $110,000 – 140,000

*anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications and internal peer equity.  The pay range listed for this position is based on the anticipated base compensation at the time of the posting.  

Work Arrangement: Remote, must live within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, UT

Core Responsibilities

* Apply Eichleay project delivery processes, procedures, and quality standards across all phases of work.


* Coordinate and integrate activities across engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction to ensure alignment with project requirements.


* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, internal teams, and overseas engineering partner to support clear communication and timely decision-making.


* Lead and support internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, documentation of meeting minutes, and tracking of action items and decisions.


* Support development of project deliverables, including scopes of work, decision support packages, cost estimates, schedules, and work orders.


* Monitor project performance by supporting cost, schedule, forecasting, and change management activities.


* Identify emerging technical or execution issues and coordinate with project teams to implement corrective actions.


* Coordinate engineering deliverables, vendor documentation, procurement packages, and construction work packages; track progress by project phase.


* Support permitting activities, including preparation and submission of regulatory packages.


* Prepare and distribute routine project reports, presentations, and client communications.


* Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely resolution.


* Support field and construction activities, including site visits and coordination with field teams as required.
