Business Process Quality Engineer

Business Process Quality Engineer - Breakers
We are looking for a Business Process Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across manufacturing processes for final products (breakers).

This role focuses on problem-solving, process validation, and continuous improvement, working closely with production teams and suppliers to ensure high standards of quality and performance.
What will you do


* Lead problem-solving activities for process and product quality issues in final products (breakers)


* Apply quality tools to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions


* Support quality control across in-process operations and supplier-related issues


* Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, and visual management tools


* Validate production lines and product changes to ensure consistent quality performance


* Partner with Plant Leadership Teams (PLTs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives


* Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and internal requirements

What will help you succeed


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field


* Experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in electrical products or similar industries


* Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO) and experience as an internal auditor


* Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies: 8D, PFMEA, RPN, KATA, etc.


* Familiarity with Control Plans, process validation, and visual management systems


* Experience working with suppliers and in-process quality improvement


* Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish


* Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently


* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams
