Senior Product Applications Engineer I

We are seeking high-calibre techno-commercial leaders who can own customer engagements, architect solutions, and win complex opportunities in the Electrical Distribution domain.

This is not a conventional presales role.

You will operate as a frontline solution owner, combining business development, technical consulting, and digital architecture expertise to deliver high-value project wins and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Opportunity Conversion


* Drive end-to-end opportunity conversion across PBs, OEMs, EPCs, Consultants, and End Users


* Own large, complex, and strategic projects from early engagement to closure


* Influence specifications and buying decisions early in the project lifecycle

Solution Leadership & Deal Closure


* Lead technical discussions, value positioning, and differentiation


* Act as the trusted technical partner to the sales organisation


* Architect and propose end-to-end MV & LV electrical solutions

Digital & EcoStruxure Leadership


* Lead digital transformation conversations with customers


* Design and deploy EcoStruxure-based architectures and applications


* Translate business challenges into scalable digital solutions (monitoring, analytics, energy optimisation)

Technical Authority Across Projects


* Demonstrate deep expertise in:



* Power Distribution: Panels, ACB, MCCB, Switching, ATS and Final Distribution products

Lead solutioning for Data Centres, Healthcare, Industrial, and Critical Infrastructure projects

Commercial Ownership & Profitability


* Drive value-based selling and margin expansion


* Influence pricing strategy (SPAs, DP, value-based pricing)


* Ensure solutions align with both technical excellence and commercial outcomes


* Actively contribute to regional profitability improvement

Demand Generation & Thought Leadership


* Lead innovation talks, customer events, and technology forums


* Position the organisation as a trusted advisor and technology leader


* Create pull for EcoStruxure digital power train solutions

Commercial & Leadership Skills


* Strong customer influence and negotiation capability
