Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You'll collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, individualized therapy services.
Key Responsibilities


* Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia


* Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members


* Participate in care planning and discharge planning


* Contribute to a positive rehab team culture and outcomes-focused care

Qualifications


* Degree in Speech-Language Pathology


* Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)


* Advanced degree preferred


* Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills


* Commitment to resident-centered care and professional growth
