Senior Associate, Ultimate Rewards Gift Card Partnerships

Help shape how customers discover and redeem for gift cards through Ultimate Rewards.

You will help drive partner performance, strengthen collaboration across teams, and deliver improvements that customers can feel.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Associate in the Strategic Partnerships Center of Excellence, you will support the relationships and commercial strategy for Ultimate Rewards gift card partners across key customer passion areas.

You will help manage partner performance, support commercial term discussions, and contribute to partnership strategy and roadmap materials.

You will drive cross-functional execution with teams across product, marketing, finance, legal, risk, and operations to deliver customer and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:


* Support day-to-day partner relationships across gift card categories, ensuring strong coordination and follow-through with internal relationship stakeholders.


* Track partner performance versus targets and support reporting, action logs, and follow-ups to improve outcomes.


* Support commercial term management (for example, incentives and pricing or discount structures where applicable) by preparing analyses and negotiation materials.


* Conduct market, competitor, and portfolio analyses; synthesize findings into clear recommendations to support partner prioritization.


* Contribute to a forward-looking partnership roadmap aligned to rewards strategy, customer segments, and evolving customer needs.


* Prepare clear, structured materials for leadership reviews and partner discussions.


* Partner with program management, finance, product, marketing, and card business teams to deliver test-and-learn initiatives, including defining success metrics and documenting learnings.


* Coordinate with product and marketing teams to improve the end-to-end customer experience (offer setup, merchandising, and customer communications).


* Identify customer or operational friction points, document root causes, and drive issue resolution through the right teams.


* Support operational governance, including contractual deliverable tracking and issue management, to enable well-managed execution.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, account management, business development, strategy, commercial operations, loyalty or rewards, payments, e-commerce, or financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to support day-to-day partner needs by coordinating stakeholders, tracking requests, and preparing for partner meetings.
• Comfort working with program economics and performance metrics; ability to build or interpret analyses and translate them into actions.
• Ability to connect broader goals to execution details, including program mechanics, partner performance, and contractual obligations.
