QA/QC Engineer
Enersense Engineering is looking for experienced QA/QC Engineers to support Mechanical and Electrical (MEP) works for our client's data centre construction team in Helsinki area, Finland.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Monitor and inspect MEP installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Develop, implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures and quality management processes for MEP works
* Review and approve quality documentation submitted by subcontractors, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and testing procedures
* Perform site inspections, audits and quality surveillance activities, identifying non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively
* Work closely with MEP construction teams, project engineers, designers and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and maintain project quality objectives
* Verify that MEP materials, equipment and workmanship meet project requirements and are properly inspected, tested and documented
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing activities, certifications, punch lists, NCRs, and other quality-related documentation
* Support project reporting by tracking quality metrics, updating quality registers, and contributing to regular project quality reviews
* Assist with commissioning, turnover, and handover activities, ensuring MEP quality dossiers, test records, O&M manuals, and final QA/QC documentation are complete and compliant
* Promote a proactive culture of quality, health and safety, and continuous improvement across all MEP project activities
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
* Proven experience in an MEP QA/QC role on large-scale construction projects, preferably within data centres, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical plants, energy projects or other complex technical environments
* Strong understanding of MEP construction practices, industry standards, inspection processes, and applicable regulations
* Experience preparing and implementing QA/QC procedures, inspection programs, and test plans for MEP installations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with experience maintaining high-quality project documentation and records
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, technically demanding project environment while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations
* English language skills
