What you’ll do


* Lead sourcing for a range of categories or services, ensuring value and compliance


* Develop strategies that drive value and reduce risk


* Guide stakeholders through tenders and contract decisions


* Use data and insight to improve supplier outcomes and reduce risk


* Help shape a best-in-class procurement service

You have


* Led sourcing and tendering for a range of categories or services


* Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate


* Experience managing supplier performance and contracts


* Knowledge of procurement law or equivalent experience


* Confidence using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes

The practical bits


* You’ll work Monday to Friday


* We work core hours between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 with flexibility built in


* We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home.


* Our anchor day is Monday, and you pick your preferred second day
