Lone Star Pediatric Dental and Braces is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing Pediatric and Orthodontic team.

What We're Looking For


* Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required


* Must enjoy working with children and creating positive patient experiences


* Flexible, reliable, and eager to learn and grow professionally


* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required


* Pediatric or Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required-we'll train the right candidate!


* Opportunity to support our Orthodontic team on Mondays

Certification Opportunities

X-ray certification is required.

Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Coronal Polishing, and Pit & Fissure Sealant certifications are preferred but not required.

If you do not currently have your Coronal Polishing or Sealant certifications, we will provide the training and pay for the certification courses for the right candidate.

Education/Credentials:


* A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is .


* Radiography requirements according to the state regulations.

Job related experience:


* Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.


* Pediatric experience, preferred

* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills- must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.


* Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.


* Communication - effective written and verbal communication is a must with all staff and management.

* Must possess excellent organizational skills- strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.


* Must have PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required.
