Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time NOC Shift
Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a full-time NOC shift .
Pay Rate: $46.00-$47.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, NOC Shift
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the assigned tour of duty.
This supervision must be carried out in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
The RN will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during the assigned shift.
* Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
* Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and resident records.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
* Participate in care planning and resident assessments.
* Promote a safe, clean, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
* Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
* Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred.
* Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
