What are we looking for?

The Sr.

Project Engineer is responsible for leading building product evaluation and certification projects, including technical assessments, engineering analysis, code research, and client communication to determine compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and certification requirements.

What you'll do:


* Assume complete responsibility including project management for building product evaluation projects including lead engineer for project teams


* Conduct research of building codes, regulations, product standards, manufacturing methods, and quality control systems as necessary to assess conformance with building codes and standards for building materials, products and methods of construction


* Develop product test plans based upon research findings


* Communicate with clients on building codes, test preparation, procedures, test results, plant audits and reporting matters


* Perform engineering analysis of test results to assess product performance


* Perform engineering analysis in accordance with standard design methods


* Create comprehensive reports of product evaluations substantiating conformance with codes and related product standards
