Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.
Key Responsibilities


* Provide direct patient care in accordance with established therapy plans


* Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function


* Monitor progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Support a positive, safe, and organized therapy environment


* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes

Qualifications


* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program


* Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)


* Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Passion for improving resident quality of life
