Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated facility in Martinsville, VA is hiring a skilled and motivated Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations.

If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working with both mechanical and electrical systems, and making a direct impact on production, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Pay: Up to $38.95/hour based on experience

Schedule:


* Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (12-hour shifts)


* Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM


* Occasional weekends, overtime, and schedule flexibility required

What You Will Do


* Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems


* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability


* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues


* Partner with operations teams to resolve equipment problems and improve performance


* Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper machine guarding

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience performing electrical and/or mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment


* Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems


* Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings


* Experience working with PLCs, motors, and drive systems


* Willing and able to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

What Will Put You Ahead


* Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field


* Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards


* Experience with conveyors, power transmission systems, and rotating equipment
