Position Summary

As a Nurse Aide in Training, you will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

You will work under the supervision of licensed staff while completing your training.
What You'll Learn & Do


* Participate in a state-approved CNA training program


* Assist residents with basic care needs (grooming, hygiene, dressing)


* Support meal service and hydration


* Learn to monitor and report changes in resident condition


* Practice infection control and safety procedures


* Assist with mobility and resident comfort


* Maintain a clean and safe environment


* Attend all classes and complete required coursework

Qualifications


* Must be at least 18 years old


* High school diploma or GED preferred


* Eligible for a state-approved CNA program


* Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare or nursing


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Compassion for an underserved population
