Essential Responsibilities


* Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to residents throughout the shift


* Perform resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition


* Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies


* Respond to medical emergencies and make sound clinical decisions as needed


* Supervise and support LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure quality care delivery


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and clinical observations


* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes


* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures


* Promote a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents and staff

Qualifications


* Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license


* Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or acute care preferred


* Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills


* Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff effectively


* Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills


* Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
