Job Description:

Key Responsibilities


* Direct and monitor the movement of forklifts, material handling equipment, trucks and pedestrian traffic throughout the warehouse


* Ensure all associates follow designated walkways, traffic lanes, and stop points


* Identify and communicate potential safety hazards or congestion areas in real time


* Support accident prevention efforts by proactively addressing unsafe behaviors


* Partner with supervisors and safety teams to reinforce traffic control policies


* Conduct routine checks of signage, floor markings, and barricades to ensure visibility and compliance


* Assist with incident reporting and documentation when traffic-related issues occur


* Provide guidance and reminders to associates on safe traffic practices

* Dirigir y monitorear el movimiento de montacargas, equipos de manejo de materiales, camiones y tráfico peatonal en todo el almacén


* Asegurar que todos los asociados sigan los pasillos designados, carriles de tráfico y puntos de alto


* Identificar y comunicar posibles riesgos de seguridad o áreas de congestión en tiempo real


* Apoyar los esfuerzos de prevención de accidentes abordando de manera proactiva los comportamientos inseguros


* Colaborar con supervisores y equipos de seguridad para reforzar las políticas de control de tráfico


* Realizar inspecciones rutinarias de señalización, marcas en el piso y barricadas para asegurar visibilidad y cumplimiento


* Apoyar en la elaboración de reportes y documentación de incidentes cuando ocurran problemas relacionados con el tráfico


* Brindar orientación y recordatorios a los asociados sobre prácticas seguras de tráfico

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous warehouse or industrial environment experience preferred


* Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to enforce guidelines


* Excellent observation and communication skills


* Ability to remain alert and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment


* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed

Physical Requirements


* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


* Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures


* Frequent movement throughout the facility

Preferred Skills


* Forklift certification or familiarity with material handling equipment


* Experience in safety, traffic control, or warehouse operations
