Manager-Landscaper

The Landscape Manager is a key individual overseeing the daily planning, development, and maintenance of outdoor spaces of a large UHNW Palm Beach family estate (over 5.5 acres), plus additional family homes, and their commercial properties.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing landscaping staff and projects, developing and managing budgets, selecting and caring for plants, and ensuring the health, beauty, and sustainability of the landscapes while working with the property owners.The Landscape Manager is a key individual overseeing the daily planning, development, and maintenance of outdoor spaces of a large UHNW Palm Beach family estate (over 5.5 acres), plus additional family homes, and their commercial properties.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing landscaping staff and projects, developing and managing budgets, selecting and caring for plants, and ensuring the health, beauty, and sustainability of the landscapes while working with the property owners.


* College degree preferred, but not required.


* At least 7-10 years of experience working as a landscaping manager for high profile clientele.


* Excellent troubleshooter who should have basic electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and landscaping equipment knowledge.


* Strong conflict management, influencing, and negotiation skills.


* Excellent customer service skills and proven ability in follow-up commitments.


* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and problem solve while maintaining attention to detail.


* Strong analytical and strategic skills.


* Must be able to multi-task and manage a constantly changing schedule and calendar.


* Must be a problem solver, resourceful, and have superior organizational skills.


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly phone manners, and a professional, poised demeanor.


* Ability to manage staff and vendors while serving as a team player; polished, poised, and remains calm under pressure.


* Excellent attention to detail and willingness to handle responsibilities regardless of how big or small.


* Schedule may vary but will generally be Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend requests (in advance).


* Always maintain confidentiality.


* Proficient in MS Office Products.


* Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets Company standards.
