Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You'll collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams to provide individualized, high-quality therapy services.
Key Responsibilities


* Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders


* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members


* Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning


* Conduct in-service training and staff education

Qualifications


* Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology


* Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)


* Must meet all federal/state requirements for SLP practice


* Must maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
