Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities


* Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders


* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and care team


* Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning


* Conduct staff in-service training and education

Qualifications


* Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology


* Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)


* Must meet all state and federal requirements for SLP practice


* Must maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
