IKEA Nottingham, are looking to welcome a new Order Picker to join our Fulfilment Operations team.

 

Join our team to receive, replenish, and move stock with care, follow safety standards, and ensure every customer order is picked, checked, and handed over with efficiency and pride.

 

 

WHAT WE OFFER

 

• The Start Date of employment will be: 5th July

• This role offers an hourly rate of £13.45

• 20 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.

•  Working hours are between 6am to 9:30pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

 

• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.

• Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts.

• You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the picking/filling of stock or to answer customer questions.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

 

• You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.

• Receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, keeping accurate records of stock levels.

• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.

• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.

• Picking and checking customer orders across the store ready for delivery or click and collect.

• Handing out orders on our click and collect area.
